Top-down Shooter Roguelite

I was hired at Kool2Play during the pre-production phase of Uragun.

I started as a game designer, working on player progression and mechanics, but quickly transitioned into full-time level design. The level design department needed guidance, and I was offered the exciting opportunity to lead the team.

In addition to creating levels myself, my responsibilities included streamlining the level production pipeline, collaborating closely with other departments and, most importantly, ensuring that all the levels were as fun as possible.

Fun fact: Uragun has a long history. The game spent years on the backburner, which led to the development of various prototypes. Just before I joined the team, the project was rebooted. However, two major characteristics have remained throughout its evolution: a dystopian futuristic setting and swarms of robots to destroy 🤖
